Golf is a game for all, men and women, young and old. It’s a great way to stay in touch with friends, meet new people, and keep a sense of community in our lives. On June 21st, Minsk Golf Club played host to a golf clinic for former female inmates of Nazi regime.
The purpose of the clinic was to provide opportunities for seniors who may never have played golf to get involved with the game, to make new friends, and learn some golf basics. A practice putting green, driving range and miniature golf courses were available for having fun.
Ladies ventured out onto the course to play some holes with our knowledgeable Golf Professional. Our guests reached the conclusion that despite its rather serene and tranquil nature, golf has a lot of physical demands. Everything from a long drive to a controlled putt requires precise body positioning, muscle movement, and agility.
We hope our guests had a wonderful day on the green, and we look forward to seeing them again at Minsk Golf Club.
