During October 19-20, Minsk Golf Club played host to the XI Golf Open Cup of Belarus for Amateurs Tournament. The opportunity to organize such a large-scale tournament appeared due to the official opening of the 18-hole championship course. The Belarussian Golf Association, as an event planner, managed to create a super pleasant and supportive atmosphere. Creativity and innovation definitely help to set any event apart, and that is no exception with what Minsk Golf Club strives to provide for all tournaments.
The XI Golf Open Cup of Belarus for Amateurs was scored using Stableford and Stroke Play scoring systems. Thirty-seven golfers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Israel and UAE gathered at Minsk Golf Club to demonstrate in a serious and tense struggle all their skill and will to win.
Golf is about enjoying yourself, and tournaments help you make it happen. The two-day event was a huge success, with all teams wanting to come back next year to compete again.
